Non-Ad Valorem Assessments
Non-ad Valorem special assessments are charges for special benefits to a property. Special Assessments are levied within certain areas in Flagler County by the Board of County Commissioners, such as the Daytona North Service District, Grand Haven Community Development District, Tomoka Community Development District, Palm Coast Park Community Development District and others, in addition to solid waste.
The rates for assessments are determined by these districts and certified to the Tax Collector for collection.
